Mr. Rezart Sako has 12 years of extensive international experience in Investment Banking and Finance. His main areas of expertise are Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. He worked in senior positions with prestigious financial institutions in New York. He was Vice President at Barclays Capital/Lehman Brothers and Hedge Fund Manager at GlobeOp Financial Services. During the Financial Crisis of 2008, he singlehandedly managed the Equities Derivatives Product Control department post-bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and led the integration with Barclays Capital. Currently, Mr. Sako is the General Director of Regional Economic Development Agency (RED) in Albania. He develops RED strategies and programs on economic development, establishes partnerships with a territorial-based approach and coordinates donors and private sector investments in under-developed regions. Mr. Sako graduated Finance at the State University of New York with honors Magna Cum Laude.  He has completed various professional qualifications in Finance and Economic Development, such as “Leading Economic Growth” at Harvard University – Center for International Development.
